Homework and Midterms

Homework this week deals with setting. You are choosing a place, and creating a story around it. Remember the examples we looked at in class: Tin Tin, North by Northwest. Think about how the story serves as a device to explore the setting, the buildings, the people that live there, the way they dress, the plant life, the wildlife, etc..

You can come up with your own story, but if you need a premise, explore the theme of retribution.

Next week I want to see sketches of the location (real of fictional, but not anywhere you can travel too, in other words, not Baltimore) the characters, a finished plot synopses, and the beginning of your layouts.
